Desk wooden patterns will caus e a trembling the dark colored desk surfaces has an important light absorbency which will increase energy consumption by the optic IC. Glass desk surfaces like should be avoided as they are unable to reflect the signal. A white paper sheet put on the desk surface is the best way for the optical mouse.
ˇ@Q: Why the LED of wireless optical mouse turning off automatically ? How to wake it up
ˇ@ A: In order to extend the lifespan of the batteries, our RF optical mouse has incorporated an energy saving mechanism into its design, with which the optical LED lamp goes out completely after a certain interval if the mouse remains in a stand by condition.
The mouse resumes its function when it is awoken by gently shaking it, the LED lamp then lights up immediately. If )the mini model mouse is being used, the shaking movement up and down or pressing the left or right button to awake it. Battery lifespan is expected to be doubled thanks to this energy saving mechanism, depending on usage conditions, it might cause a minor inconvenience when using the mini model mouse, but it can reduce battery expenses.
ˇ@Q: Is it true that if I don't complete a full charge of the batteries, I might damage
them or shorten their total life?
ˇ@ A: No , you won't damage the batteries or the mouse with a partial recharge. However, the less time the mouse spends charging in the Rapid Charge Base Station means the less time you can use it before it needs to be recharged again.
ˇ@Q: I changed my batteries and now my pointer doesn't move or my keyboard doesn't work. What happened?

ˇ@ A: First, verify you have inserted the batteries with the correct polarity. Second, and most common, the mouse/keyboard and receiver may need to be re-synchronized. Just press the button on the receiver then press the ˇ§SET UPˇ¨ button on the bottom of the mouse/keyboard.

ˇ@Q: Can I use other types of rechargable batteries to power and charge the mouse?

ˇ@ A: Yes, but only just to power the mouse, not charge it. Attempting to other type of battery will damage your mouse. Warning: Do not try recharge any other type but the NiMH batteries. Both alkaline batteries and rechargeable batteries are recommended for use with this product, however the two types of batteries should not be mixed up and used at the same time (i.e. combining an alkaline battery with a rechargeable battery) in order to avoid risks of explosion. The usage of rechargeable batteries results in a reduced expense and is less harmful to the environment.

ˇ@Nevertheless the above explained, the low battery display can only detect the capacity of alkaline batteries, and it is not accurate when detecting rechargeable batteries because of the different voltage characteristics. If you are using rechargeable batteries, you may experience that newly recharged batteries are detected as having insufficient capacity; you can ignore the alert and only replace the batteries until the mouse stops working.

ˇ@(b) Clicking twice the left button on the radar icon will enter into the mouse control interface,
